The
Photographers are sometimes overlooked in the planning of the
wedding as the Bride and her family take center stage. But it doesn't
have to be this way, especially since a wedding is actually the
"marriage" of two families.
Early
on in the wedding planning, the mother of the groom should have
a brunch or luncheon for the bride and her mother. This is a great
way for the mother of the groom to get involved at an early stage
so that the Groom's family is well represented in the wedding plans.
Both
mothers can talk about what type of gowns or pantsuits they want
to wear, as well as color selection and formality. They might even
want to plan a shopping trip together to look at dresses and accessories
that will complement each other.
The
Groom's father is often the most overlooked and underappreciated
member of the wedding party as all eyes are on the bride and her
parents as they plan all the festivities and events. But for the
groom's father this is a very important milestone in his life as
his son. So don't forget to make him feel special by including him
in your plans and seeking out his advice.
The
Photographers will traditionally host for the Rehearsal
Dinner. This is an opportunity for them to feel important and
involved, so make sure that you seek out their advice and support
for planning this special event.
